By car

From the Autobahn (A2 / A115 / A100) 
Take exit "Dreieck Funkturm" and get onto Autobahn A100 to Hamburg/Wedding. Proceed on Seestraße and turn right onto Müllerstraße after 2 kilometres. This street will turn into Chausseestraße and eventually into Friedrichstraße. Turn right onto Reinhardtstraße. Then turn onto the first street on the right (Albrechtstraße). Albrechtstraße turns left and becomes Schumannstraße. The Deutsche Theater (German Theatre) is on the right side, some meters further down the road, you will find the GIM building also on the right side.

By public transport

From Berlin Main Station

Take bus 147 (get on at the Europaplatz stop) in the direction of Ostbahnhof and get off at the Schumannstraße stop.

It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk from the main station to Schumannstraße 18 (1 km). Leave the station on the side of the Reichstag (Washingtonplatz). Cross the station forecourt straight ahead until you reach the large main street in front of the station (Rahel-Hirsch-Straße). Walk down this to the left and over the bridge. Turn left into Unterbaumstraße, which becomes Schumannstraße. The GIM is on the left-hand side.

From BER Airport Terminal 1-2

Take the FEX (Airport Express) to main station and get off at the last stop (approx. 30 min.).
