ARD/ZDF Online Study 2020 published

GIM has conducted the ARD/ZDF Online Study 2020. ARD and ZDF are the largest public broadcasting corporations in Germany. The core result of the survey: the number of Internet users in Germany has risen again, with media offerings benefiting the most.
On average, the Internet is used for almost 3.5 hours every day. Furthermore, Instagram replaces Facebook as the most popular network. The 20:00 o'clock edition of the Tagesschau of October 08 reported on the results (Video in German).
ARD/ZDF Online Study 2020 Published
The Tagesschau by ARD is the oldest and currently most-watched news show in German television. The 20:00 o'clock edition on October 08 reported on the study conducted by GIM.
The study was commissioned by the ARD/ZDF Research Commission and has been providing basic data on Internet use in Germany every year since 1997. For the study, GIM conducted 1,504 telephone interviews with representatively selected persons over 14 years of age. The survey period was between March 9 and April 27.
