By car

From the town centre (Bismarckplatz) 
Drive down Bismarckstraße towards Rohrbacher Straße (B3). Continue down Rohrbacher Straße, following signs for Rohrbach. After approx. 1000 metres, turn right into Goldschmidtstraße.

From the railway station 
Drive down Lessingstraße towards Franz-Knauff-Straße. At the end of Lessingstraße (800 metres), turn left into Franz-Knauff-Straße and, after approx. 250 metres, take the right fork into Schillerstraße. After approx. 50 metres (Shell fuel station), turn left into Rohrbacher Straße following signs for Altstadt (Old Town). Continue along Rohrbacher Straße (B3) for another 50 metres and then turn left into Goldschmidtstraße.

Driving from Karlsruhe (via the A5)
Exit the A5 at Intersection 38, Heidelberg/Schwetzingen, following the signs for Heidelberg / Leimen (B535). Continue for 1.5 km and then keep straight ahead onto Speyerer Straße. After 2 km, you pass the city limit sign for Heidelberg. After another 3 km, turn right into Lessingstraße. At the end of Lessingstraße (800 metres), turn left into Franz-Knauff-Straße and, after approx. 250 metres, take the right fork into Schillerstraße. After approx. 50 metres (Shell fuel station), turn left into Rohrbacher Straße following signs for Altstadt (Old Town). Continue along Rohrbacher Straße (B3) for another 50 metres and then turn left into Goldschmidtstraße.

Driving from Mannheim (via the A656) 
Follow the A656 (you pass the city limit sign for Heidelberg). Exit at Intersection 6, Heidelberg/Wieblingen and joint the B37, following signs for Heidelberg. After approx. 1.5 km, leave the B37 and fork right into Gneisenaustraße. After 500m, leave Gneisenaustraße and join Kurfürsten-Anlage, following this for another 400 m. Then turn right into Lessingstraße. At the end of Lessingstraße (800 metres), turn left into Franz-Knauff-Straße and, after approx. 250 metres, take the right fork into Schillerstraße. After approx. 50 metres (Shell fuel station), turn left into Rohrbacher Straße following signs for Altstadt (Old Town). Continue along Rohrbacher Straße (B3) for another 50 metres and then turn left into Godlschmidtstraße.

By public transport 
From the main railway station, take Tram No. 24 and get out at the stop S-Bahnhof "Weststadt/Südstadt". Alternatively, you can travel one stop on the S1 suburban train going to Osterburken. You get out at "Weststadt/Südstadt". From here it's just 5 minutes on foot to GIM. You cross the tramlines and walk past the Shell fuel station on your right into Rohrbacher Straße. After approx. 50 m, turn left into Goldschmidtstraße.
